Stephen joined Arctaris in May 2022 and serves as the Vice President of Finance. He is responsible for the accounting and financial oversight of certain portfolio companies held by Arctaris funds.His focus areas include maintaining the books and records, cash management and supporting the Arctaris accounting and investment teams.

Prior to Arctaris, Stephen was the Controller at The Rohatyn Group (formerly GMO Renewable Resources) and a Senior Manager with KPMG. In his previous role with The Rohatyn Group, Stephen was responsible for managing the quarterly financial reporting, annual audits, tax filing and cash management for private equity funds. In addition, he has experience with internal control design and execution. With KPMG, Stephen was responsible for financial statement audits of financial services companies.

Stephen holds a MS in Accounting from Suffolk University, MS in Atmospheric Science from University of Wisconsin-Madison, BA in History from Tufts University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

 

Luke Fine

Luke joined Arctaris in 2024 as the Vice President of Compliance. In his role he is responsible for the oversight, implementation, and management of the firm’s legal and regulatory compliance programs. He works in coordination with the Cyber and technology Director to minimize the firm’s risk profile.

Prior to joining Arctaris, Luke worked HarbourVest Partners, where he successfully redesigned their marketing compliance program. Prior to that, he was an Associate at State Street Global Advisors. In his previous positions, he was critical in the implementation of the “new marketing rule” and other rules promulgated by the SEC and FINRA. He also has experience in conducting training, onboarding and designing compliance technology, and has experience in the design and implementation of policies and procedures.

Luke holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Delaware and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. He is a member of the Massachusetts bar. In his free time, Luke enjoys traveling, skiing, and running. He and his wife raise their children outside of Boston.

Daniel Budin

Daniel joined Arctaris in 2024 and serves as a Senior Controller. He is responsible for working alongside the finance / accounting team that manages the financial oversight of the Arctaris Funds, co-investment vehicles and portfolio companies. This includes the timely and accurate delivery of all quarterly and annual financial reporting. His background is in transactional and accounting advisory services, focused on enhancing & optimizing private equity accounting operations and reporting processes.

Prior to Arctaris, Daniel was with CBIZ’s Private Equity Advisory group and KPMG’s Deal Advisory group. At CBIZ Daniel provided consulting services and solutions to private equity groups and their related portfolio companies. With KPMG, Daniel focused on technical accounting advisory work in addition to transactional integration support.

Daniel holds a BA in Economics from Gettysburg College, a MS in Accounting / MBA from Northeastern University, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. He enjoys spending time with family & friends, cooking, golfing, and exploring the outdoors.

Halina Malahov

Halina joined Arctarisin 2021 and serves as Controller. She is responsible for managing quarterly and annual reporting processes, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and other standards. She works closely with external auditors and tax professionals to coordinate annual audits and tax return preparation. Her background is in hedge fund and private equity fund administration services.

Prior to Arctaris, Halina led operations in a boutique venture capital firm that invested in early stage fintech companies. She oversaw budgeting, managed month-end reporting, implemented internal controls, and assisted with regulatory compliance.

Halina earneda BA in Business Administration from IUP Management et Gestion des Entreprises (Clermont-Ferrand, France), a BS in Economics from Gomel State University (Belarus), and an MBA from Babson’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. She enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her family.

Florian Schalliol

Florian joined Arctaris in 2023 and works with Arctaris Impact’s public and philanthropic partners to develop place-based programs and unique public-private partnerships. Florian works alongside Patrick Mullen on place-based program development and First-Loss Capital as well as the Firm’s annual Impact Report. Prior to joining Arctaris, Florian was the Founder of Metis Impact, an impact-focused consulting firm and a Project Director at New Localism Associates. Florian also worked as an Advisor in the Connecticut Governor’s Office with a focus on economic development and as a Special Programs and Policy Manager in the Chicago Mayor’s Office. Prior to these roles, Florian was a Senior Consultant and Case Team Leader at FSG, a mission-driven consulting firm. Florian earned his MBA at Harvard Business School and an AB from Brown University, with honors. In his spare time, Florian enjoys surfing, all forms of performance art, and feeding the birds that visit his fire escape in New York City.

Lisa Francis

Lisa joined Arctaris in 2023 and serves as Treasury Manager. She is responsible for cash management activities. Additionally, she will be responsible for overseeing vendor and banking relationships and ensuring the firm’s cash management processes are able to support the firm’s investment goals.

Prior to Arctaris, Lisa was a Treasury Manager of Bank Operations at Manulife and Senior Treasury Analyst at Raytheon Company. In her previous roles, Lisa focused on managing liquidity pools, system implementations, bank relationship management, governance controls, placement of investments and streamlining bank models.

Lisa holds a BA from Wheaton College in International Relations and Italian Studies and an MS in Multinational Commerce from Boston University. In her free time she likes to hike, travel and spend time with family and friends.

Dina Keith

Dina joined Arctaris in August of 2025 and serves as a Staff Accountant. She supports the firm’s financial operations with a focus on managing the accounts payable workflow, processing vendor invoices, preparing journal entries, and assisting with month-end close activities. Additionally, she helps maintain balance sheet reconciliations, supports budgeting and forecasting processes, and contributes to special projects across the firm.

Prior to Arctaris, Dina was an Accounts Payable Accountant at Lily Transportation, where she was responsible for managing invoice processing, vendor relationships, and expense reporting. She also led monthly accruals, performed account reconciliations, and supported process improvements using tools such as Concur, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and Excel.

Dina holds a BA in Economics from Coastal Carolina University. In her free time, she enjoys hiking various trails across the Greater Boston area, attending workout classes, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.

Stephanie Mclntyre

Stephanie joined Arctaris in 2023 as an Executive Business Partner to the Founder and Managing Partner, Jonathan Tower. In this role, Stephanie is responsible for providing support to Jonathan and leading a number of projects that are core to Arctaris Impact’s firmwide priorities.

Prior to joining Arctaris, Stephanie collaborated with the Dell Financial Services Sales Teams at Dell Technologies by providing them with program and project management assistance.

Stephanie earned a BS in Marketing from Boston College, Wallace E. Carroll School of Management and an MBA from Simmons University. In her free time, she likes to travel, go hiking with her dogs and try adventurous sports like sky-diving and hoverboarding.
